Is there life outside of the island...
Aliens are a race of extraterrestrial life forms that serve as assistants to the royal family, witches, and vacationers on the island. They travel on small UFOs that can move objects with light beams.
Aliens live on their own separate planet, where emotions are a limited resource, and everyone must be able to express them in order to share them with the rest of the population.
When Puddle hoarded the planet's emotions because she was afraid to confess her love for the King, the entire population became insensitive and violent. They were even willing to sacrifice Oscar and Hedgehog to drain their emotions for the good of the planet and in honor of the King.
